A Letter from the Owner
Welcome, Thank you for your interest in Little Acorns Child Care and Learning Center. Little Acorns is a family owned and operated child care in Orono, MN. We offer programs for Infants, Toddlers, and Preschoolers. These programs include developmentally appropriate schedules, our own unique child-led curriculum, activities that promote school readiness, and extra programs such as Spanish, Music, and Science. I, as the owner, take great pride in the care all of us provide at Little Acorns Child Care and Learning Center. We all are in the child care business because it truly is our vision to positively impact the lives of the children in our community. It is our great pleasure to serve the families in our area.

What We Believe At Little Acorns
At Little Acorns, we know that what we believe about children and how they develop impacts all that we do. Therefore, we make it a part of our business to continually examine how our mission, goals, and philosophies affect our day-to-day care of the children. It is our desire to have beliefs that truly reflect the needs of children and to act on them in a way that best supports child development.

To provide quality, caring, and flexible child care to families in the Long Lake, Orono, Maple Plain, Wayzata, and surrounding areas

We are nationally accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).

We are open Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

We serve children from the age of 6 weeks through the summer before Kindergarten entrance.

We offer a variety of childcare services and flexible schedules. This includes drop-off, part-time, and full-time care.
